Earlier this month, the Blue Jackets were able to grab a win from the Hurricanes, upsetting Carolina’s otherwise perfect season. Be there when they vie for victory #2. Bring out the blue, red and silver and be sure to get your tickets for this exciting match-up.

Before the Blue Jackets game, grab a drink at a nearby Arena District bar! The newly opened Whistle & Keg is a serve-your-own-beer concept that offers a unique way to try different craft beers from a rotating tap list.

Work starts on three new buildings at Grandview Yard

Nationwide Realty Investors has started work on a new office building and two new apartment buildings on the largest remaining vacant parcel at Grandview Yard, Nationwide’s 125-acre development north of Goodale Street and west of Rt. 315. When the two apartment buildings are completed, Grandview Yard will have almost 1,500 residences and more than 5,000 office workers.

Nationwide Realty Investors has started work on two apartment buildings and an office building on the largest remaining parcel at the Grandview Yard complex, the 125-acre development north of Goodale Boulevard and west of Rt. 315.

The new phase will add a three-story office building and a pair of four-story buildings containing a total of 218 apartments. They will rise on a vacant lot north of Burr Avenue between Rail and Yard streets.

“This is the biggest and most significant parcel left,” Nationwide Realty President Brian Ellis said.

Columbus Blue Jackets Opening Night + Plaza Party

Friday, October 4 | Nationwide Arena | 3 PM

NHL hockey is officially back—we are so excited for the Columbus Blue Jackets to be back at Nationwide Arena! The Columbus Blue Jackets invite fans to kick off the club’s 2019-20 season by visiting the Opening Night Plaza Party, presented by Nationwide, on Friday, October 4 before the Jackets host the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7 PM. The party on the Front Street plaza starts at 3 PM and game tickets are not required to attend. Fans that do not have game tickets are welcome to enjoy the atmosphere and stay to watch the home opener on large outdoor screens.

After their stunning end to a fantastic 2018-2019 season, the Columbus Blue Jackets are back with a vengeance. The Jackets’ 2019-2020 schedule was recently released, and it includes 41 Nationwide Arena home games! While that seems like a lot, they can go by in the blink of an eye—plan which games you want to see, secure your tickets and watch the Blue Jackets battle their way back to the Stanley Cup playoffs.
