Blue Jackets Return to the Ice

Ride at Pelotonia

Habaneros Fresh Mexican Grill is anticipated to open Sunday, July 18 at 11:00 a.m. for lunch.
Habaneros Fresh Mexican Grill will soon have a third location as the Hilliard-based restaurant expands later this month into Grandview Yard. Located at 1105 Yard Street, the restaurant will take on a large 5400-square foot spot inside a newer two story building not too far south of Third Avenue.
The restaurant features a mix of Tex-Mex dishes and authentic Mexican “street tacos” priced in the $2 to $2.50 range. Other menu items include tortas, quesadillas and burritos as well as an extensive beer, wine and cocktail list.
In addition to the indoor restaurant and bar space, the Grandview Yard location for Habaneros will feature a large outdoor patio.
Habaneros Fresh Mexican Grill is expected to open on July 18.

March to the Match
The Columbus Crew’s inaugural match at their new stadium in the Arena District is finally here! Join fellow Crew fans on July 3 for the March to the Match as the Black & Gold open up Lower.com Field and take on the New England Revolution.
The march event will begin at 3:45 p.m. at 1st Avenue & High Street, coming through the Arena District at Battelle Plaza and concluding at Lower.com Field. Neighborhood bars and restaurants will be open to celebrate the inaugural match! For more information, click here.

The Columbus Crew’s new stadium isn’t the final piece of the Arena District puzzle. Several large parcels remain to be developed in the neighborhood at the western edge of Downtown.
But the soccer stadium does cement the district’s evolution from a nightlife destination into a residential and office neighborhood anchored by sports.
From the beginning, the Arena District was designed to include far more than an arena.
