Columbus Underground Tour Returns in 2015
Columbus Underground is excited to announce the return of the Urban Living Tour, an event featuring urban living options and opportunities in Downtown Columbus, the Arena District, Grandview Heights and more. The first Urban Living Tour took place in 2014, with nearly 500 participants in attendance, and it returns on Sunday, May 17th from 9am to 3pm. With over a dozen stops in various apartment, condo, mixed-use residential buildings, and additional lifestyle stops, this year’s tour showcases much of what it means to have an urban lifestyle.
We are proud to announce that we will once gain be a part of this year’s Urban Living Tour. With stops at our Flats on Vine Leasing Office and our Apartments at the Yard Leasing Office, we are proud to showcase our apartments and the urban amenities that make them so popular.
Lifestyle and restaurant businesses will be additional stops on the tour, offering introductory information, discounts, and specials during the event. Stops announced today include King Business Interiors, Fortner Fine Living, The Hills Market, Dr. James Ford, DDS, Glass Axis, Goodale Pro Hardware, and Global Gifts. Additional lifestyle and restaurant stops may also be announced in the coming weeks.
“I’ve always enjoyed going on open houses to see what different areas of Columbus offers,” says Anne Evans, co-founder of CU. “We’re excited to have another Urban Living Tour to let people see a whole bunch of places all in one day.”
Attendees on the Urban Living Tour who check in at multiple locations during the tour and get their map/passport stamped will be eligible to enter a grand prize package worth over $1,000 at the end of the tour.
New to the tour in 2015 is an official after-party component, presented by Wagenbrenner Development. All ticket holders to the Urban Living Tour will be invited to end the day’s event at Jeffrey Park in Italian Village with local beer from Seventh Son, Hoof Hearted and Land Grant, live music and food trucks.
Tickets to the tour are $20 in advance, or $25 day-of at the check-in at King Business Interiors. Yay Bikes members can enjoy a $5 discount on tour tickets. 10% of all ticket sales will be donated to Faith Mission and their programs to help the homeless and others in need.
