Grandview Yard announces it’s new phase in apartments – The Brooks
Grandview Yard is the next up-and-coming neighborhood for urban apartment dwellers in downtown Columbus. Demand has been so high for for-lease residential living, that Apartments at the Yard is going to begin construction on their next phase of apartments – The Brooks.
Nestled into this new development that sits in the heart of Grandview Heights, are the four existing apartment buildings: Baldwin, Porter, Pullman, and the The Keystone, which began leasing early last fall. The Brooks will feature one and two bedroom flats ranging in size from 722 to 1,219 square feet. The building will be a 4-story, 166-unit residential building that will be located on Baldwin Avenue between Yard Street and Rail Street. It will include first floor walk-up units and a 128-space underground parking structure.
The additional apartment space will add to the existing 274 units to help supply the huge amount of demand for living in proximity to downtown Columbus and all that it offers.
One of the reasons that demand is so high in this neighborhood is that it is so close to Nationwide Arena with events like hockey and national touring concerts. The LC Pavilion is also near here with concerts from big names like Walk The Moon and Fall Out Boy. Also close by are Huntington Park, home of the Columbus Clippers. Grandview Yard itself has a multitude of amenities as well including a brand new Giant Eagle Market District and multiple restaurants to choose from. Just a few blocks away are all of the offerings that Grandview Ave. provides. From Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, to Grandview Cafe, Spagio, Vino Vino and Local Cantina, the street provides foods for every kind of appetite. There are also numerous store fronts including Objects for the Home, Thread, The Oilerie, and the Candle Lab.
Apartments at the Yard has another beautiful building planned so that more residents can call Grandview Yard home. Construction for this building will begin in June, with an anticipated completion in summer 2016.
