After a two-year unplanned hiatus due to Covid-19, the Columbus Arts Festival is coming back in 2022. But this time it will be in a new location: the Arena District.
The 60th Columbus Arts Festival will take place from June 10-12 in McFerson Commons, along Long and spring Streets, and in North Bank Park, along the Scioto River.
The festival, which usually takes place in Bicentennial Park, across the Rich Street and Main Street bridges and near COSI, is moving to the Arena District because of construction.
About a third of the usual site is taken up by construction currently, said Greater Columbus Arts Council Vice President Jami Goldstein.
The festival will likely be in the Arena District for several years, Goldstein said.
