Join Step Up for Stefanie’s Champions 4-mile or 1-mile walk/run! Participants can join from any place at any time between June 5 and July 4. The annual walk honors the champions in the lives of cancer survivors with proceeds benefiting the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research. For more details, click here.

Grandview Heights Named One of Top 5 Places to Live in Cbus

Each year, Niche ranks thousands of places to live based on key statistics from the U.S. Census and expert insights. This year, they named Grandview Heights the 5th best place to live in their 2021 Best Places to Live in Columbus Area list. The city also ranks 1st in being the best suburb for young professionals in Ohio.

In addition, (614) Magazine named Grandview Yard the Best Apartment Complex in Columbus in the 2021 ColumBest for the fourth year in a row (see page 74). Informed by nearly half a million votes, the Apartments at the Yard were recognized for its community lifestyle and excellent customer service. 

A special congratulations to our Grandview Yard friends at Massage Envy for being named the Best Place to Get a Massage in this year’s ColumBest (see page 89).

Play ball—May 11 is Columbus Clippers Opening Day at Huntington Park! Tickets can be purchased for all May home games, and availability will be determined on a month-to-month basis until the ballpark is at full capacity. Click here to view the team’s schedule.

 

A Pitch Made for Champions

The new Crew Stadium has a pitch, and it’s GLORY-ous! Each day we are closer to welcoming the Columbus Crew SC to their new home in the Arena District! Watch the latest progress here, in a timelapse video the Crew SC shared on YouTube last week.

Celebrate the coming of spring at Hofbrauhaus Columbus with a rich, flavorful haus-brewed bier. Maibock, the bier of the month, is noticeably malty and sweet, with a warming alcohol note. Hofbrauhaus pairs it with slow-cooked beef marinated in red wine, spices and vegetables, topped with sweet and tangy sauerbraten gravy, and served with red cabbage and buttered spaetzle.
